I’m very competitive. I like to win lol.

Sometimes I wish my friends were more competitive. We’ll get together and play games a lot, Mario Party is our favorite. And they are soooo not competitive players. Their energy is very much “this is a fun game that we’re playing with our friends!!! Teehee we’re all in this together”

of course I understand and respect the logic of saying this is only a game and we’re having fun. Trust me, I’m having fun even if I lose. But sometimes the fun is trying to win and playing against people who are also trying to win.

so I’m not gonna lie, our game nights can be frustrating because you’re playing against people who don’t care and aren’t trying.

I used to think that I was simply competing with my personal best till I started going to the gym and realized I can’t be at an elliptical/treadmill when another person is at the unit next to mine bc I HAVE to be on my treadmill at least one minute longer than that person was (even if I started earlier). A little competitive glitch I never knew I had. Makes me laugh a little when I catch it.
