Depends on what you’re looking for. I’m more of a fan of supernatural horror myself, not big on slasher movies though I did enjoy the nightmare on elm street series. Anything with a religious touch to it is also appreciated, like The Conjuring, Annabelle, The Nun, etc. but I’m also a big fan of movies with some well-designed monsters and/or creepy film sites like The Bell Witch, The Descent, As Above So Below is a personal favorite. Also animated ones like The House, Perfect Blue, the medium creates a unique opportunity and they take full advantage of it but these are all just movies. Truthfully, my favorite horror is in comic books, but I don’t think that’s the media you want.

The descent was well-done, they really got you to feel so claustrophobic that when the monsters finally showed up, it was a relief lol

For comical horror , one of my favorites of all time is Then Evil Dead movies , with Bruce Campbell , even the Evil Dead series was great as well Ash Bs, The Evil Dead, But for creepy horror watch the Entity , it’s based on a True Story and it’s messed up

The late '90s and early '00s were the golden age of Asian horror movies - you almost can't go wrong: The Ring, The Eye, The Grudge, Dark Water, One Missed Call, Tale of Two Sisters, Shutter, etc (originals, not US remakes, obviously).

If you're in the mood for some bone-chilling horror, I recommend "Hereditary" and "The Witch." They masterfully build tension and atmosphere. For a series, "The Haunting of Hill House" on Netflix is incredibly well-crafted, providing both scares and a compelling storyline. "Train to Busan" is a fantastic Korean film that combines horror and intense drama. Grab some popcorn and enjoy! 🍿🎬

2. Life (2017) horror/sci fi

3. Constantine (2005) horror/fantasy

4. The Hole (2009)

5. Get out (2017) horror/mystery

6. The grudge (2004) & The grudge (2019)

7. Final destination (all 5 movies till now).

8. Insidious (2010)

9. I still know what you did last summer (1998).

10. Ghostship (2002)

2019 grudge movie was overall better as compared to the 2004 movie but the 2004 movie has more horror elements to it.

Yes these are some of the best horror movies according to me.

I loved the series Santa Clarita Diet. It were great but they stopped after 2nd series.
The new Alien series is alright.
You favourite horror is Martyrs (2008) and not the Hollywood remake. It has everything in it
