To be in line with the ever increasing pressure of the LGBTQIA+6JUE0/OZDV-X9SYK8*P47M, WF/5R2H3C1N? community, studios are more or less forced to revise how they present their characters.

Thus, it is "fashionable" to have a trans main character in order not to be in the critics by those organizations.

Money talks and if one of those organization boycotts the studios, a lot of money is being lost and those CEOs cannot fill their pockets anymore.

It is a fashion craze that will, hopefully, one day find an end before the industry goes totally berserk. It is sad that it has to be like that but as long as money is the key factor, everything will be done to keep that money flowing.

It's called Marketing. They do it. They want every little girl to nag her parents for some cheap costume that costs $500-$1000 at one of the "little princess" shops where they all pop out wearing more head-to-toe glitter than a stripper.

In the pursuit to be more inclusive with their characters they have just gone a bit extream which is annoying race swaps can be done in a good way but when it is done as a token it is annoying
