Yeah, either IIT (top institute of India) otherwise nothing else cuz my extra curriculars aren't strong for ivy league or any other top institute. So I'm planning to use IIT as my gateway to Havard, Google CEO did the same thing but with Stanford. If I don't pass those engineering entrance exams, then all my future plans basically change and I won't be able to get into ivy league or Oxford and won't be able to get Singaporean passport.

Nevermind! Big changes in my life now! I finally let go off that burden and now I'll just do BSc economics and finance with a minor of Mathematics from this really prestigious private university in my country which also has international exposure and I'm happy ever since then!

Engineering wasn't important to me, the prestige that came with it was. Being an IITian is more precious that being from Havard or Oxford cuz acceptance rate of IIT is like 0.01% (ivy leagues range from 2% to 10%). And with IIT tag it is easy to get into ivy leagues later on. And also my dad did civil engineering and I love physics.

But this university which is my focus now has acceptance rate of 9%-15% (depending upon how many students apply) and is completely my vibe. And I have felt so light hearted and stress free after dropping down IIT for this university.
