I can't seem to find one where I have listened to a whole album. 😕 Paramore comes close though.

There are several for me. Off the top of my head...

    1. "Dark Side of the Moon", by Pink Floyd, 1973.
    2. "Wish You Were Here", by Pink Floyd, 1975.
    3. "Animals", by Pink Floyd, 1977.
    4. "Disintegration", by The Cure, 1989.
    5. "Wither, Blister, Burn, and Peel", by Stabbing Westward, 1996.

Then, of course, there are lots of "Best Of.../Greatest Hits" albums that would fall into this category.
And various classical music recordings. For instance, "Beethoven's 9th Symphony", which is in 4 parts, takes over an hour, so it is basically an album on its own.

    Ocean Avenue - Yellowcard
    Paper Walls - Yellowcard
Chase This Light - Jimmy Eat World

I have a few more, but those have been staples of mine since I’ve had a personal music library

  • A no-skip album for me has to be Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours." 🎶 It's a timeless classic with each song beautifully crafted and relatable. Every track takes you on an emotional journey, and the blend of rock, pop, and folk elements makes it a seamless listening experience. It's perfect for any mood and stands the test of time just like Paramore's engaging albums! 🌟

I was gonna say EXTRA OG Paramore, like All We Know Is Falling. That’s such an incredible album, and it’s like they want to pretend it never happened, I don’t understand it. Like if I met Haley and could ask her about anything, that would be it. Riot! was really solid too but just shy of “no skips” for me. AWKIF is a goddamn masterpiece though.

Tell All Your Friends by Taking Back Sunday is no skips for me too. Enema Of The State by Blink-182 was excellent as well. Maybe would throw in Guns N Roses with Appetite For Destruction.

In the rap genre, I’d definitely say Illmatic by Nas and The Infamous by Mobb Deep. I can listen to both the original 1992 “The Chronic” by Dr Dre and Doggystyle by then-“Snoop Doggy Dogg”, lmao, also could qualify. Wu-Tang Clan’s Enter The 36 Chambers is a cover-to-cover classic too.

Oh, and I almost forgot: The Roots’ “Do You Want More?” Pre-streaming, I used to tell people it was “the best album you’ve never heard”, even if they knew The Roots, because it was from earlier, before they blew up...

    https://www.youtube.com/embed/5yM7TgMbLzU

Kanye’s first album, “The College Dropout”, was SO close
.. but New Workout Plan and Jesus Walks are TERRIBLE songs, lmfao, so that killed it. But it’s worth an honorable mention because the rest of the album was so good, haha. Pre-Crazy Kanye, please come back to us, lmfao

If you like the music of 70's rockers, they made a lot of concept albums. The Who put out Tommy & Quadrophenia; Hendrix did Electric Ladyland, numerous Grateful Dead album, Pink Floyd's Ummagumma ( may be an acquired taste), Dylan's Highway 61, Price's Purple Rain, Beatles had a string Magical Mystery Tour, Sgt. Pepper's, and some extent, Abbey Road. Many people would believe that listening to single songs was a teenage thing and listening to the entire album more sophisticated, Steely Dan put some of the most technically awesome albums together with Aja probably the best for listening to entire album. When streaming music hit -after the industry curbed Napster style piracy, people started buying single songs again.

I don't know how well it was maintained but there is a website that has been available since the dawn of the interned named Internet Archives. They used to have a lot of albums (books, films also) that were released with no digital rights management and are all free. There are a lotof quirky things on it that are interesting and free

    Pink Floyd concept albums like...

    • Dark Side Of The Moon
    • The Wall
    • Animals
    • Wish You Were Here

Where it's designed to be listened to start to finish in the sequence the tracks are recorded. It tells a story or explores a concept. Skipping tracks or listening to it out of order loses some of the meaning.

I think some songs in "The Wall" can be skipped, but the other 3 are definitely end-to-end and I included them in my answer too.

I used to listen to Red Hot Chilli Peppers: By the way, The Eagles Greatest Hits, Bruce Springsteen Greatest Hits, Eminem had a few but putting a song like "Kim" on the Album I can't not skip that XD Now I haven't really listened to full albums in a long time so I can't say.

There are 1000s of them. Almost every one of our almost 30,000 albums is playable all the way through. Otherwise, I wouldn't buy them.
