Is a bar doing a country bar night the same night as a major country concert a good idea?

this local bar usually has a country night once during the summer , was wondering why they hadn't done it yet then saw a post online there doing it this weekend. thing is this weekend is also the same weekend as a major country music concert / festival. it runs for 3 nights in a city less than an hour away and everyone who likes country goes to it

so why would anyone come out to there country night at this bar this weekend if there already at that other festival?

doesn't make sense to me at all to have it the same weekend

i tried talking to some of the people who worked there about this and how it was an odd idea yet they seem to still be doing it anyways. keep updated if anything changes and if anyone shows up or not

was there last night and place pretty quiet for a Friday , not many customers ( was 1st day of that music festival it runs tonight too ) there country night is apparently still a go although its not posted on there social media page as there instagram stories about it seem to have disappeared

It makes sense if the music festival doesn’t allow alcohol. Might as well keep to the theme to attract tourists who want to get drunk

the bar isn't that close to the festival to get the afterparty crowd , a lot of people who live here go to the country music festival and stay there for the weekend

Maybe not everyone can afford to go to a big event
