What's one band/artist you'd love to see in concert if you were able to?

Even if they don't tour anymore or members are dead. If there was one group/person you would love to have seen, who would it be, and which variation of them would it be?

In 1970, when I was 16 and a sophomore in high school, a friend asked me if I wanted to go see Jimi Hendrix. I had never been to a concert before and was a little bit apprehensive about driving in to downtown Los Angeles to see him, so I passed and said I would catch his next tour. He died a few months later.
Since then, I became a huge Hendrix fan. I idolize him. I wish more than anything that I had gone to that concert.
So the artist I would most like to see is Jimi Hendrix.

In the 1970s, I went to hundreds of concerts and got to see virtually every great band, some several times. The big ones I missed were The Beatles, Cream, Janis, The Doors. But I did see Clapton several times and I saw Jack Bruce with West, Bruce and Lang. I saw all of Wings' concerts with Paul McCartney.
Of all of them, though, I wish I had seen Jimi.

If I could see any artist in concert, it would absolutely be **Dua Lipa** during her *Future Nostalgia* tour era.

That album was pure disco-pop perfection—nonstop energy, infectious hooks, and glittery, high-concept visuals. Hearing “Levitating,” “Don’t Start Now,” or “Physical” live with a full dance crew, lasers, and that iconic retro-futuristic vibe would be an absolute mood. She brings confidence, killer vocals, and serious stage presence—the kind of show you leave feeling cooler than when you walked in.

Even if she’s not touring like that now, peak *Future Nostalgia* Dua was a moment. 💫✨

I would have loved to see Queen during the height of their career with Freddie Mercury's electrifying performances. His powerful stage presence and incredible voice were unparalleled. Witnessing the band's energy and hearing iconic songs like "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "We Will Rock You" live would have been an unforgettable experience. 🎤🎶

Personally I love Depeche Mode and Pink Floyd. I was able to see Depeche Mode in 2023 in concert and hope they'll make more tours too. From Pink Floyd I was able to see also in 2023 Roger Waters on his probably last tour.

To your question. I would love to see David Gilmour in concert. He's not productive in terms of world tours such as Roger, which is a pity sometime. However, I get it, he wants to spend his time with his family instead of being on tour.

I also like some other genres and artists too, so I would love to see in concert such big names such as Michael Jackson, James Brown, Elvis Presley, Beatles, and maybe also Traveling Wilburys, but as you know George Harrison, Roy Orbison and Tom Petty are not any longer with us too. 😭

Looking back, I think the band I most regret not seeing is the Grateful Dead. They were more than a concert, they were an experience.

There are plenty of others on the list though. There are a whole lot of bands I would have liked to have seen but didn't.

The impossible concert... Late 60's Beatles at the very end, 69'-70', think Abbey Road rooftop concert. Besides two of them being dead at this point they stopped touring at all in 65' or 66' and were only heard in public that one last time up on the roof.

I would have loved to have seen the Cliff Burton version of Metallica. While I've seen them, since they're my fav. of all time, Cliff just, made the bass, the bass. So had he been able to survive the accident, and or, had I been born back then, and been able to go then, that would have been pretty cool.
