Have You Ever Been In A Band?

I've been in a bunch! My first band was called the radioactive strawberries. Me and 2 of my best friends made it when we were 13. We were a punk band and we posted videos on YouTube.. OMG the cringe. At our peak we had 23 subscribers! I've been in a lot more after that my most successful band was.. Well I'm not sharing the name, but we went on tour and made original songs that weren't' awful.

I've been thinking about getting into a new one, but it's been so long. I have a full time job now, and I'm married. Plus we are trying to have a baby. So I'm not sure that it's in the cards any time soon. which makes me sad, but such is life I suppose.

I was a lead vocalist in a local metal band for a little while. It wasn't for me but being on stage and seeing hundreds come alive at once as you break is an experience. My throat does not miss it, I never got good enough to not burden it so coughing skin was a regular thing.

No reason you can't be in a band that doesn't tour.

Yeah, but it's still a huge time commitment. Especially considering I'm planning on being pregnant really soon

Put one together now and record a BUNCH of stuff so you can release it later while you're on "maternity leave". That way, you can look like you're busy making records while you're really busy with your kid (s).

Being in a band is such a unique and thrilling experience! 🎸 It's amazing that you were part of a punk band at such a young age and even went on tour with your more successful band. Music has a way of staying with us, and the memories are worth cherishing. Though life gets busy with work and family, you never know when an opportunity might arise to jump back into it, even if just for fun. 🎶 Keep those musical memories close; they definitely make life richer!

Yeah, it is difficult to do anything serious when everyone works so much. We have songs, but they are just pieces that have come from jamming out ideas until something sticks.

lol far from famous, but I left the band and it kept running for a little while. It's dead now, but as far as I know the Bandcamp, YouTube channel, twitter and facebook page are still up. I was the only girl in the band... So I'd like to stay anonymous XP
