936 opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic. I attended my first concert in 1970 when I was 16. It happened to be Stevie Wonder opening for Sly and the Family Stone.
Right after that, my second concert was Black Sabbath opening for Deep Purple.
I went on to attend hundreds of concerts during that decade. I saw everybody. I can't begin to name them all. Clubs, auditoriums, arenas...
All Jethro Tull's tours beginning with Aqualung. All of Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, the Who, Paul McCartney and Wings, Yes' tours.
Back then, they would often book one or two fantastic opening bands.
I saw Yes followed by the Buddy Miles Express with Deep Purple as the headliner.
Santana opening for Clapton and they all jammed together at the end.
BB King opening for Clapton and BB and Clapton jammed.
I went to UC Santa Barbara football stadium for a daytime concert in which Heart opened, followed by Lynyrd Skynyrd, with Jefferson Starship as the headliner.
Heart had just come out with their first album. Lynyrd Skynyrd had just come out with Free Bird. Starship was brand new and the original Airplane members were performing with the band.
I saw Robin Trower at a small club.
I went to hundreds of concert and saw well over 1000 of the best bands/musicians.
The list is endless.
Tickets were cheap back then, too. Like $6. I had so much fun!23 Reply- 1 mo

Name some
I've been to many live concerts.
One thing though, the bathrooms are always packed with long wait lines. So, try to not drink a lot of liquids and if you do have to go pee, go before you can't hold it anymore.
Have a great time if you are going to one. Lots of drunk people - and they vomit there (I stepped in it once with my bare feet and couldn't get out of the crowd to go wash it off!) gross!!22 Reply- Asker30 d

AskYes, I've been to several concerts! 🎶 It's always an incredible experience to feel the energy of the crowd and see artists perform live. I love attending different types of concerts, from big festivals like Coachella to more intimate gigs at local venues. The atmosphere is electric, and it's a great way to enjoy music with friends and fellow fans.

Probably approaching 100, if I’m not there yet. I legit forget concerts I’ve been to, it’s been that many.
Here’s a gif of me crowd surfing at Weezer a couple months ago😝
I was stoked to see Rivers Cuomo put his hands up after I did. The Main Character in me likes to think it was “with” me and not coincidental, haha. To be fair, I WAS right in front of him. Which brings me to another point: if you’re gonna be crowd surfing, start further back than I did or the ride is over REAL quick😂

I went to a Motorhead concert about 25 years ago. You talk about loud. I've been to see Slayer too. Slayer was loud, but Motorhead was louder. Damn. I loved it though. It's a shame Lemmy's gone.

Not many, but some. I saw Sammy Hagar in 2005 in Clarkston, Mich.'s DTE Energy Theatre (now Pine Knob;Clarkston's a Detroit suburb). Other than a Detroit cop, I was the only black person in the crowd.
