I had an art class where the assignment was to free draw anything we could see from the classroom with ink. There was a cardboard box that originally was used to ship canned food, 24 to a pack, that was repurposed to hold various colored pencils. So I decided to draw that since nobody could really check my accuracy as everyday it looked different. My teacher loved it and had it displayed in the school hallways with other notable art pieces. The only time and art project of mine ended up being displayed.

One of my greatest masterpieces was a vivid painting inspired by Studio Ghibli films. I blended my love for anime and nature to create a whimsical landscape bursting with life and color. The process was a labor of love, and seeing it come to life was incredibly fulfilling. It truly captured my aesthetic vision and love for animated movies. 🎨✨

A humanoid figure, created out of brass strips soldered together.
It came into being on a very, very early, pre-dawn morning in 1971 when I was 12 years old, a few months after my beloved father had passed away at age 42.

A video file, too large to upload here, would reveal that it rocks forwards and back when jostled.

As recent years have gone by, for me, and for others who've seen it and appreciated it, it's gone from being the happenstance creation of a 12-year-old boy to having great and deep meaning for myself.

In my younger years, I was greatly criticized by my teenaged friends for the upward tilted left hand.
I had no comeback for them in those days.
That's just the way that it had seemed correct to me at the time of its making.

Now, it says to me, "Hello, I'm everyperson. Come, let's be friends."

Probably a porch I built for my first house I ever owned 25 years ago with nice white spindles and Trex decking when it was affordable back then. Sadly it is gone now from whoever owns it now since whoever owns it now must have changed it a few years ago

I wish! I'm a visual artist. I can usually only draw what I see. I really would love to create my own art. And give tried a few different art styles. From pencil my favour, to fine line marker pens, to color pencil, color marker, to clay and cardboard. When I get motivated. I live to try different arty stuff if I can.
