Yeah thats not how it works. The only time a law suit can happen is if the tattoo in question is featured in a movie or some other media. Most courts will just laugh it out of court.

Well they make stupid laws over copyright that it doesn’t matter if you take someone else’s work you can get sued it’s the law.

lmao.. Maybe the artist can be sued, but not the person that actually has the tattoo on their body. That's just not how it works. If you believe differently, Cite case law, and supreme court verdicts, I guarantee you can't. Additionally the tattoo artist can also make it just different enough that it falls under fair use. The likely-hood of a law suit being successful is between slim and nill. It would have to be egregious

No one is going to do that. People sue for copyright infringement when someone is publishing their work without paying them.
