No, I don't think it's right. At my work you get hired but they require tattoos to be covered up. There are two people I work with that have to wear long sleeves everyday year round to cover their tattoo sleeves. Other people cover their smaller tattoos with band-aids or cover up.

You have freedom of speech including getting tattoos.
You do not have freedom from the reactions to your speech because that is their speech which they are also free to have.

If you want to be an adult and make adult decisions, then you need to think like an adult and be prepared for the ramifications of your words and deeds. Wanting to do something and not have to pay the price to do it is what immature 4-year olds do.

No, if you own a business and don;t like tattoos there is no reason you should hire somebody that has tattoos. I once did not hire somebody because he had a ponytail. Ito me it meant he was not serious.

Private companies can hire or not hire anyone for any reason they see fit. And this scenario is easily avoided by them just saying they won't hire you for another reason. Unenforceable, as it should be, sorry.

Not sure. This could be like “lift 50 lbs” requirement. Or “have license”. Tats can be covered and as a business owner, I wouldn’t want clients to see gang tats.
