What decade were the best movies made?

Oh, that's just a hard one to answer. I mean some modern movies are fun just 'cuz of the special effects and CGI even if there's not much story. Some of the older movies pre-cgi are just awesome stories. Some films combined them both really good like Lord of the Rings.
I guess this is the part where I use a lot of words to say absolutely nothing while remaining entirely indecisive and managing to avoid the question completely.
But TY for inviting me to share. 😊
1970-s and 1980-s
Fast times!!! Jaws, Lost Boys, 9 to 5, Alien, E. T, Back to the Future, Chinatown etc.
The decade when you turned 11, usually, which just happens to be the 1970s for me, although later than your picture.
The Three Musketeers and its sequel in your picture were brilliant. Blazing Saddles, too. I didn't get to see them until the 1980s.
Star Wars! Star Trek...
@Nikki1989 I'm guessing, the 70's and 80"s. ?

I say the 70's. Jaws, The Taking of Pelham 1,2,3, Chinatown, The Godfather, Grease, Carrie, Young Frankenstein, all great films. The 80's were good too, but I remember these best.
I think there are always great films being made. No way to tell about a decade that isn't over yet. And it also has to do with what kind of films you're drawn to.
the 2070s had the best movies Cars 3 1/2, Toys story 16, Star wars the revenge of zombie vader and who can forget loosing nemo
That depends on the type of movie.
Classics were made in the 1950s, musicals in the 1960s, adult films in the 1980s, and animated kids movies in the 1990s.
I think all the westerns and musicals came out in the 60s. And they are still popular and on TV all the time even today.
only because I am biased... I'll say, the 90's
for whatever reason, I did enjoy movies so much more as a young kid...
Definitely the 80s, closely followed by the 90s, but I also like some of late 70s movies, and early 2000s movies.
Hard to say. A few of my favorite movies came out in the 1920's. The 1950's had some over-the-top epics. But yeah, the 1970's seemed to hit on all cylinders.
I think the best story lines and plots came from the 40's, 50's and 60's.
The 90s for me, followed closely by the 80s.
1930's to 1970's.
I can't decide!
