Absolutely.
Admiration doesn’t guarantee understanding. People can respect your work, image, or achievements while missing your deeper thoughts, feelings, or struggles.
Public praise often reflects perception, not reality which is why many high achievers or thoughtful people feel misunderstood in private despite being admired openly.
I can imagine so many celebrities and public figures feeling that way.
Yea I don't think admiration is always a good thing, I wouldn't be surprised if it can lead to mental health issues, mostly if it effects them with stress on having to keep a specific image or keep attracting that admiration, can't really relax if you are worried about how you'll have to keep a certain image everytime you go out.

Yes, absolutely. Someone can be praised, loved, even “put on a pedestal” publicly, and still feel deeply misunderstood in private. People often admire the image, not the real person. That gap between who you are and who they think you are can feel super lonely and emotionally exhausting, like being loved for a mask, not your soul.
