Yeah... It very much depends in my case. If I'm just chilling with my friends, soft music is perfect. If I'm partying with my friends, loud music (usually metal music, especially Sabaton) is the way. If I (do not) socialize with anyone else, normal-volume music on my headphones is the optimal choice. If I get singled out for some reason, I will notice, otherwise I will just cut myself off.
Most the time I do, unless of course the subject matter is of a sensitive nature.
Wait… I’ve never thought about this before but yeah, I actually do lol
It gives me this weird sense of calm while we’re talking… like it takes the pressure off the silence and makes everything flow easier.
Lowkey depends on the music though… the wrong song can ruin the whole vibe lol
Completely agree
Yes but I should still be able to communicate without problems.

Surprisingly no. As much as I love music, I don't unless we are at bar or lounge that calls for it. But if we are at my home or someone else's home, I prefer there not to be music playing. I want to actually hear what everyone is saying and take it in. It's hard for me to not get distracted especially when it's good music playing.
It really bothers me. I have auditory processing disorder, so can't hear people easily. Have to rely on lip reading when there is loud music.
Dang that sucks.
it depends... but most of the time, no
unless... WE ARE the music...
As we do in my restaurant play the music softly during dinner hours and maybe a bit louder during the off dinner hours, but NEVER so loud it bothers conversations
No music unless everyone wants me to dance. Otherwise, it's too distracting for me especially if I'm involved in a heated discussion
It depends how high the music is. If it's too loud I can barely hear what others are saying i tend to zone out.
Yes, very much - just not too loudly, more of a background noise.
Not while socializing. Later on though..
Yes, music always relaxes me. I prefer if it's not too loud for socializing.
I don’t always need it, but sometimes it could be nice Look out at a nice restaurant
a little background music is nice.
Either play it softly or not at all.
Sure, but not too loud.
Yea i don't mind hehe
Low volume is fine
I find that only Jazzy suit to it.
If needed.
