I love that you picked the cello, it really does feel like it’s talking directly to your soul 🎻
For me, it’s the piano. It’s so cinematic and versatile, maybe because I grew up on art films with those melancholic scores. A single piano melody can feel like an entire movie in my head. Think of something like Yiruma or Ryuichi Sakamoto and I’m gone 😌🎹

I like all kinds of instruments, i play some piano and keyboards, but my main instruments are the electric guitar and clarinet, stopped playing the guitar for more than a decade and i still play the clarinet hehe...

Well, she started when she was 8. That's the earliest she could start. Basic to professional takes her 10 years. Then there's the option to continue from 18 to 22, I think. It's on the same level as a university degree.

I play guitar so I do love listening to different guitar sounds. But I love brass instruments (played the trumpet) and the deep tones of the cello. Also the bass saxophone for those throaty raspy sounds.

Drums. Drums are different because they don't make a melody, they make a rhythm. Rhythms are what get stuck in my mind.

I know this is horrible to say, but I've only recently heard someone playing the cello. Before that, my favorite was the haunting music of the bagpipes. This might be genetic, since my family came from Scotland and Ireland. No one else seems to like them.

But, Miss Jenna Ortega managed to amaze me. From what I read, she actually plays the cello in her Netflix series, "Wednesday." The choice of pieces also help, being music I already listen too.
