What is your favorite musical instrument?

I think piano is the most popular instrument throughout the world (I’m not sure though). My favorite instrument is the trumpet. I also like saxophones, trombones and the piano as well! How about you guys?

All of these are my favorite ones because I love jazz music! It’s so relaxing and it fits my persona as a highly sensitive introvert. I find jazz music very chill!

Its depending more on how much skill someone has to play a instrument...

Because to me, you can't compare 2 different instruments even with masterskill, because of the unique pattern of sounds it can make... you just notice that some use the same principe like a piano and a guitar which got combined as zither (don't know the English word)...

And often its the combination of or different patterns which makes the magic for me... especially with heavy skill, like juzzie smith's one man band or xavier rudd...

Single instrument players I've just a few in my list, mostly guitar, justin johnson... hang drums, saxophone... damn james (old friend, most times drunk) was once on a little festival that drunk that he joined the band on stage, but used his knowlege to play a black plastic bag and the mirco itself (it was way better than the story sounds...)

Coolest I've ever seen is a stomping... pretty rare, no one knows where it was invented... in german its called a stompfm...
It looks strange and even stranger if someone plays it, imagine a walking stick with up to 3 guitar strings, a drum on top, 2-3 cowbells at the holding hand and a spring at the bottom with a rattle so it jumps if you hit the ground with it... playing it with skill is more like dancing with it
