Black stars are breaking through in Country music. Darius Rucker quietly broke barriers. Beyoncé is recording country music but I just don’t know if she is sincere in doing it for the music.

Yes. Country is more diverse than I thought which is good for the music.

I’m pretty eclectic with music, but I do like some country 🎧
My favorites are more on the cinematic and emotional side. “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton always gets me, and “Jolene” by Dolly Parton is such a timeless mood.

For newer stuff, I love Kacey Musgraves, especially “Rainbow” and “Slow Burn” 🌈🎶

Yes those tunes still play well. Johnny Cash had some popularity about 10 years ago with rappers because they saw him as OG with his prison time.
