Lots of people talk about art they love, but what’s a piece of art you HATE?

I’m gonna get flack for it, but I’m honestly so fucking sick of Van Gogh’s Starry Night. Yes, it’s pretty to look at and a solid technical piece of impressionism, but does it have to be FUCKING EVERYWHERE? Why does every white woman I know say it’s her favorite painting? It’s like the “Live, Laugh, Love” of the art world now. I’m tired of it.

There are more than one single piece of "Art" that I do abhor, starting with most modern art.

There was once a modern art exhibition in a European city where there was one single watch in a picture frame. It was considered as art and the price tag was very high.

Everything that’s done for shock „value“ only, sexual, violent or whatever. These stupid Benetton ads, showing the bloody clothes of someone killed in the Yugoslavian civil war. Or that explicit Daniel Edwards sculpture of Britney Spears giving birth. Zero artistic value, apart from the fact that this shyster is only using celebrities‘ names to get a free ride on their tail.
