I'm gonna say shawshank redemption because I can't imagine it could be outdone. But I saw the running man which the book was one of the first things that made me want to become a filmmaker because I really wanted to adapt it.

The movie was well done I thought. There was a lot of challenges to adapting that story and even though I would have obviously done a better job, they made it kinda feel like the same story. Even if the main character I thought was a little misrepresented from how I interpreted him.

I've only seen two stephen King movies that were books the dark tower was good and the other one I saw was it the old one and I was laughing so hard cause my mom make it sound like it was some extremely scary movie not even close I've seen scarier movies then some old horror movie from the 80's

I didn’t know he wrote the Shawshank Redemption. I remember an Admin at work telling me I reminded her of the main character from Shawshank as when I first came to her department she thought I would get eaten alive but in 2 months I was running the show.

I like his stories. I saw “Storm of the Century” again recently.

Salem's Lot. It was a made for TV movie and King's 2nd published novel. It was also set in Maine and so by unwritten state law, I have to know these things.
