Do you have a favorite Stephen King Book?

If so, what's your favorite Stephen King Novel, or collection? I recently read Desperation again. I decided to finally watch the movie the other day to see if it was worth a watch. It sucked! Though, he never has much control over the film versions. The book was excellent. Started out with action right at the beginning!

Horror is one of my favorite genres, right up there with suspense, and Stephen King is good at both. What about you? Do you have a favorite Stephen King book? If so, what is it? And is there any particular thing you like about the book?

Tough call. I read all of them (except The Plant, which I was never able to find) up until the last Dark Tower book, which pissed me off so much I stopped reading him. Off the top of my head, I'd probably say either It or The Talisman (not Black House; that sucked), with Insomnia and 'Salem's Lot coming in a close second.

It's been so many years since I've read King.

I was a big fan.

There are so many great ones.

In order to make a choice, I'll choose one that became a massively loved huge film.
