What is the creepiest unexplained thing that has ever happened to you?

First, I admit I had been smoking pot and drinking when this happened back in the late 90s. I went into the kitchen at 2pm to make a sandwich. Next thing I knew, It was 6:30pm, dark outside, and I was standing in my kitchen eating a sandwich. 4.5 hours gone, didn't even notice the time pass.

Was staying with an old friend of my mom's a long time back. Her friend always said her place was haunted, and her husband even detailed creepy things. Saw it for myself twice when we were there. I wanted to get the hell out quick.

Years ago, while in a half sleep/half awake state, a thing in all black was at the foot of my bed. It kept pointing at me in an accusatory way. I wasn’t afraid. I just looked at it and eventually went back to sleep, with no further issues that night.

I was painting late at night, headphones on, rewatching “Hereditary” in the background 👀. I paused the movie, took my headphones off and clearly heard a woman whisper my name right behind me. I live alone.

My cat, who usually ignores everything, puffed up and stared at the exact spot behind my shoulder, hissing.

I slept with the lights on for three nights after that. 😅
