Deserted Island vs Ancient Castle. Which one would you rather explore and why?

I’d choose the deserted island. It feels more peaceful, free, and untouched. I like the idea of being surrounded by nature, the ocean, and complete silence away from crowds and noise. An ancient castle is interesting because of the history and mystery, but a deserted island feels more calming and alive.

Let's see dank moldy ancient but very finite building in an unknown state of repair or a deserted island? The castle thing would be over pretty quickly. I'm gonna go for the great outdoors. But only if I have a way off the island. I've lived on an Island. Island fever is a real thing. I would not want to be confined there indefinitely.

When you say deserted, do you mean no humans, no animal life of any kind, no snakes or dangerous sea life, only insects and plants? Where is the island? Not knowing any of this, I'll go for the castle.
