AI music. who is listening to it?

I saw a short video (30 seconds) of a singer named Cain Walker. Found the full video on YouTube and really liked it. Then I found more music from him. When I did the research I found out it was all AI. It blew my mind. Now I am listening to Iron Saddle Rebels. The reality is that it all sounds the same BUT… it’s a good beat and the words have meaning to me so I really enjoy it. Anyone else? What’s your favorite AI listen?

It is really sad that people even tolerate its existence when they can listen to real musicians creating real music. I have experimented with AI music, and you can create a song in minutes. It is so lame that anyone can do it. Pathetic.

I totally get why it blew your mind 😄 AI artists like Cain Walker and Iron Saddle Rebels are surprisingly catchy. A lot of AI music does have that “samey” vibe, but if the beat hits and the lyrics resonate, it still works emotionally.

I like some AI-generated ambient playlists on YouTube for painting and drawing, especially AI lofi and synthwave. They feel cinematic, like soundtrack vibes for life 🎧✨

@jen_oic oh you can tell it’s AI. But does that matter if you like the music.
In 1965 Bob Dylan at a folk festival switched from an acoustic guitar to an electric guitar. They called him a sellout everybody hated it. Now, no one thinks twice about an electric guitar.
In 1975 Peter Frampton started running his voice through a synthesizer, giving his voice, a weird sound….
Music isn’t pure… hasn’t been for a long time. AI will take over the music industry no matter how much we hate it.

It’s pretty good now, but in the future you’ll not be able to tell the difference.
Think about it…. The singers of old who have long since past on will be able to make and sing new music. Frank Sinatra, Janis Joplin, even groups that no longer exist like the Beatles.
