The problem is you haven't got time to check every clip to see if it's fake or not. Even if others do then there will be claims the debunkers are lying. There'll also be claims real things are faked. How many of us have the time or money to challenge fakes made of us?
End result will be nothing will be trusted and everyone loses.
I think this will impact the criminal justice system in a way that the boomers who run it are not prepared for. It will also impact politics and marketing and most other spheres if human interaction where there is very little face to face contact. I also see this being used to allow University professors to be even lazier.
It's hardly AI. The technology to "clone" anything from sound to video has been around for ages.
