A few, or a lot? And how often do you listen to them?

A few, or a lot? And how often do you listen to them?

I have the same few dozen I bought 20-25 years ago, but they mostly just sit in one of those old CD cases I have had them in since then. I copied them all onto my laptop forever ago so I don't listen to the actual CD but playing them in Windows Media Player on my computer is way easier than actually playing the CD itself or picking them out on youtube
But you can't play your computer in your car.
I can't play CD's in my car either
@nodecision I know someone that copied more than that, an entire room full
They must have worn out several CD burners. π―
Not anymore, I ditched official and burned ones somewhere around 2010 maybe.
I didn't shift to streaming subscriptions though, because I'm not a fan of depending on internet access for music. So I download any music I really like from YT, to get files stored on my computer and phone that I can play offline
I posted about this recently
Do you still keep your old CDs even if you never play them anymore?
I managed to sell 90% of what I had left for a fraction of what I paid. It wasn't really about making money. I just wanted to know they found a better home than the trash.

Close to 400, I think. I still listen to them, my nice Hi-Fi system is faaar superior to any little laptop speakers.
I probably have 200 or more some I have listened to so I have it same with movies I have 200 to 300 maybe more that I haven't even watched
I probably have around a hundred. I do listen to them but not very often. I have a lot of Christmas CDs and listen to them during the holidays.
Not a single one.
No gramophone records either.
On behalf of everyone on the site over the age of 30 ... π
A few of them no I donβt if I wanna hear music Iβll just go to YouTube. or turn my radio on when Iβm driving
Without checking 30-40 and sometimes... my dad needs to get his car stereo sorted then it'll be a lot more playtime
400 odd. Half of them are on reasonable rotation.
I probably have about 300 CDs and nothing to play them on.
Are those all yours? I'm uspet that I can't read all the titles.
a lot. I don't listen to them and don't really know what to do with them
A few hundred and no but I do listen to my vinyl collection quite often
Vinyl? You mean these black big discs which were used in the 60's and early 70's? π
@TonyMetal___86 yeah and 50s lol
It's amazing that your vinyl player is still working π

Not only CD's but a lot of cassettes snd vhs tapes too, i hope that you know what these are, since you're only 26 π
They don't make VHS players anymore. Cassette players are about the same. But my car has a CD - mp3 player in it.
Yep there are no vhs and tape players anymore, i still have them and it's nice to have a cd-mp3 player in your car hehe
These days it's usually a flash memory or blutooth connection...
Don't they take up a lkot of room? Maybe donate them to a thrift shop?
Well i have them all gathered in one place, never thought what i'm going to do with them π€·π»ββοΈ
I dont own any Cd's thats old tech
But if you have an older car, and unless you have replaced the radio, it won't have a USB port for having music on a small thumb drive.
I would say I still have like 30.
Zero
