Oh yes, back in 1982. And usually, children's movies did not do so well and were not in the box office long and usually went quickly or even straight to videotape (remember, this was 1982-1983), but Spielberg made you forget that it WAS, in fact, a children's movi. Even we (back then) smug teenagers "not into baby stuff" were taken in.
