Who likes thunder storms?

I love a good storm, actually thought at one time I’d like to experience getting hit by lightning (I know that makes me sound mentally ill). As long as you survive it I bet it would be like a total reboot. There is a park ranger in Virginia who has been struck 7 times by lightning.
That’s all a bit off topic… who loves a good storm?
Do you go out in it, or watch from a window?
Another story… I have a female friend who gets so excited during a thunderstorm if you are within 100 feet of her during a storm…. You are getting lucky (like it or not lol).

I like them a lot.
I enjoy rolling thunder, booming thunder, sudden crashing thunder. I enjoy watching lightning storms, too.

It is hot and dry here during the summer, so rain storms, thunder and lightning are welcome during the other months of the year.

They are a nice reprieve from the 105 degree days. I like to sit on the porch and watch. They don't happen a lot and it sometimes only rains a handful of times all year other than summer monsoons. As long as it doesn't knock the power out... that's rare luckily because it's miserably hot. It would be nice if they happened other times than summer but oh well.

I do like them, which is good. We get some really bad ones where I am from (Midwest) and because of our geography.

They are pretty strong but usually over quickly. I like listening to the hard rain and the thunder.
