Do you like watching storms?

Question

The UK is currently been hit by storm Isha. As you can see in the photo there's quite a few people by that pier watching the crashing waves.

You'll see similar gatherings right along the coast but do you like to go and watch storms or stay in doors?

I like events that shake things up and make it interesting. Storms do that, so yes I like watching them come in, hearing them, hearing a hard rain at 3am , hearing the rain on my car when its stopped and I am waiting for someone, see the lightening and count the seconds to the crack of thunder and then try to remember what that means in terms of distance from the lighting strike.

I  LOVE  stormy, gloomy weather. I don't know why. There's just something cozy and comfortable about it. Probably because the temparature kinda evens out and the moisture/humidty balances out as well.  I like it when I'm not doing much too and I get to stay in! These are some of my peaceful moments!

yes we saw an amazing storm over France last year, I still have the video and will try to post. an incredible light show for an hour. several women died in it.

Storms are very interesting to watch. But from a safe viewing distance!  I hate wind and nasty lightning. It is like nature is playing Russian roulette with the lightning bolts!

Where I live we get Snow storms which can get to be pretty intense. I have always liked watching hurricanes when they show footage on the news for some reason.
