Woody's reaction in Toy Story 3 (unless an animation coincidence) - seems to give credit to "the alleged origin story where Woody - potentially saving Slinky and Rex, foreshadowing his origins as a anxious yet heart of a toy leader" where 🪀🧸 there was a rumour once Woody escaped being burnt with those other two toys as his father's favourites, yet burnt to avoid spreading polio or something. Hey they could always update it to "akin to a Corona or unnamed disease" - like that Old Yella story. Remember, the dog, rabies, burning bonfire, sack of belongings. 🪵

Ah well. Sure seems to give some hints in Toy Story 2 (all the souvenir items have Woody's face) and why Woody seems to be as rare as Jessie and Stinky and Bullseye 🐎). I mean, why so few, and so many Buzzes. And why no purple haired female buzz going to spacecamp without the Bo Peep cringe boss treatment - humble is more organic.

Let's home someday Hollywood writers are found not in the formal courses at US universities but instead in the basements and beach houses where people often write their best fictional genius stories - from Pixar friendly children's stories, through to adult adventure stories, action stories, soap operas movies - hell, we still don't even have a Bold and the Beautiful cinema movie - with all the 2000s to 2020s cast 🙌🏻👀😅

@AviatorTom nowadays too many scriptwriters are just churned out from universities instead of the geniuses who are stand up comedians or people who work regular jobs yet their side hobby / passion unpaid is just writing - for fun. Hell, laptops or notepads full of just stories - why Hollywood why the unsolicited ideas legal policies - but that's sadly the copyright world Aviator ©️ anyone's who's a creative tries not to get sued, sigh. So they stick their ideas to themselves 💡

I mean... yeah? Why wouldn't he be? Lol. I remember him even screaming in pain in the very first Toy Story movie where Sid used a hot magnifying glass on his forehead leaving a small burn mark so obviously hot stuff and fire hurts him.

Thanks man. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who thought copyright quote "Hey Joe, what'd ya know" - from A. I. Artificial Intelligence movie (2001) and it's the same with Woody and "supposedly" Joe Ranft apparent vision for Woody and his origin. Sure explains why so much Woody memorabilia and seemingly only 1 Jessie, 1 Woody and 1 Bullseye and one Prospector - hmmm 😏🤔 but as usual..."the other writers/producers/directors at insert studio/s went in an 'other' direction" to loud groans 😅 from the back rows 🙃🫣
