The first concert that I _paid_ to attend was on Tuesday 12 JUN 1979 when I saw Yes at the Nassau Coliseum. It was "In the Round" meaning that they were on a circular stage in the middle of the arena and it slowly rotated.

Lol, this is a relatively funny story. It was Barenaked Ladies. My parents wanted to see them when I was young.

It was an outdoor venue, so they brought me. Imagine a young girl wondering what she was going to see at a Barenaked Ladies event. XD

It was a music festival. Kiss was the headliner. I was only 8 years old at the time, and it was an eye-opening experience, to say the least.
