Not listening to anything at the moment, but it looks like the last thing I had on last night was “Grease” by OT The Real, 38 Spesh, and Dave East

https://www.youtube.com/embed/l5aZJBLAu1ESong I’ve been listening to right now is faouzia - unethical her voice is beautiful and for someone who’s on into slow music hers just hits different
Branimir Štulić "VОЉЕLА МЕ NIЈЕ NIJEDNА"
https://www.youtube.com/embed/imavcafVXZYHaven't heard this for a while but I was in the mood for it
Look at MINE ;)
it popped into my head after you said your country
@KostasKouvalis
Where did you see me mention my country? Good choice though 😅
I don't even remember. Some asked you where you're from.
I'm glad to hear that.
You have good taste ;)
I'm actually POLISH. lol
@KostasKouvalis I had gag before, I remember you and that you are Polish. by the way. Can you understand a bit of lyrics?
WHAT? We talked before? :O Weird, I would have remembered talking to a Croatian girl.
A little. I can understand better if I see it written. The false friends always get me though.
Wait, are you that girl who commented on my question about Yugoslavian music and mentioned Crvena Jabuka?
@KostasKouvalis I actually don't remember but that could've been me. 🤣 We interacted a few times under some questions, and we even had a little disagreement. 🤣
I asked because I find it a bit fascinating how Polish speakers can understand it. I can only catch a few words in Polish.😅
Really? What question? What about? lol
What was your username?
Oh I'm far from understanding it. I watched a Serbian film without subtitles and barely understood anything. But basic phrases/words I can understand, if they're very similar. Like I understood "black soil covered".
And Divlje Jagode, "Let na drugi svjet" is almost identical to Polish.
So me too, only a few. A little more if it's written and with context clues.
But it's not hard to learn or memorize, as the words are short, unlike it Polish. It's just words with missing vowels like, "krv" "smrt", "krstaških" "vrha" "brzo"
There were a few I heard that sounded nothing like what they're written. Like this... "dabogda pocrkali" "savršenstvo"
Anyways, you get the point
@KostasKouvalis You said that all Croatia offers is sea/beaches or that people only go there because of it. Something like that. I found it ignorant and obviously disagreed. 🤣 I'll give you a hint: Johnny 🤣
Yeah, that makes sense. Context helps a lot too. “Dabogda pocrkali” is a pretty funny one to pick. 🤣
I would never make such an ignorant statement. I think what you're talking about is when I said, "Europeans only travel for the sea and beach, because they don't care about ancient ruins or old cities, 'cuz they have those at home."
Johnny? You had a male account?
LOL.
To be fair, there are Polish words I struggle with too, especially the ones with missing vowels, because we don't have those sounds in English. And I recently learned there were Polish words I was mispronouncing for DECADES. LOL Don't even get me started on the spelling.
Even when I watch Polish movies/shows, sometimes it takes me a while to understand them. lol
My mom still SWEARS she says Dwa-dziescza" (I probably spelled that wrong), even though I SWEAR she's saying "dwajscia"
What's REALLY weird though, is my mom talks Polish to US fluently, but when she talks to strangers, she randomly inserts English words. My dad on the other hand is the opposite
Anyways, Slovak is MOST similar. I can understand like 90%, especially written. Least understandable is Bulgarian and Macedonian.
@KostasKouvalis No, you said it about Croatia. 🤣 And also used some stupid old mytake as ''evidence'' 🤣 No, my username was whereismyjohnny. 🤣
That's hilarious 😂 I believe the spelling must still be a bit hard sometimes, even if you speak Polish, especially when you're used to English spelling. And yeah, Slovak being that understandable makes sense! I’ve heard Czech and Slovak can be surprisingly easy to follow if you know Polish. As for Bulgarian, I can relate 😂It seems so different from the other Slavic languages to me
Are you sure? I don't remember bad mouthing Croatia? Maybe I only said that it doesn't have anything you can't find in other European countries and I might prefer Montenegro. But then I was looking into Istria. I wanna see where I said this, because I don't know why I would bad mouth Croatia. Only thing I've ever really said about Croatians is they're kind of cold and hate small talk.
I remember the name, but I don't remember any of your posts honestly, but I think we may have had a disagreement. I wonder if I blocked you. Whatever. It's weird that I don't remember any of this.
YES! But even one of their former presidents made like 30 spelling errors in an official document.
Czech is a little harder, but Slovak, we can converse with each other in our language and we'll understand each other.
YES! I've only found a few words that are similar. Maybe it has a lot of Turkish influence, I don't know
Right now, sugar crash

Right now I’ve got “I Wonder” by Kanye West playing 🎧
I love how nostalgic and moody it feels, especially when I’m sketching or editing photos. The beat is chill but still motivating, so it’s perfect background music while I’m working on some anime-style character designs. It always puts me in a reflective, slightly dreamy zone 🎨✨
