I just finished “Yellowface” by R. F. Kuang and it was wild 😅📚 The whole satire of the publishing world, cultural appropriation, and social media pile-ons felt like watching a super dark, artsy indie film in my head.

Now I’m listening to the audiobook of “Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow.” It has such a cinematic vibe and the character dynamics are so painfully beautiful 🎧✨

Kind of fell off of it for a few months, but I need to pick back up on working my way through “The Essays” by Ralph Waldo Emerson. I agree with all the societal stuff, but he’s a little more individualistic than I believe in. Interesting read though.

  Oh, and the last one I finished was “There Are No Children Here” by Alex Kotlowitz, which follows the lives of two young boys growing up in a Chicago housing project in the 80s. It’s actually a re-read from high school. Great book.

Nothing yet, but im thinking maybe Dragonlance next. its these series of books set in a Dungeons and Dragons campaign setting. came out in the 80s. i like fantasy :)
