I do not recommend. It's even dumber.
The last movie that I watched in its entirety was the 1959 movie "On the Beach" which, in August, was free on YouTube.
The last movie that I saw in theaters with "Michael" which I saw over the summer. My wife and I also saw "Project: Hail Mary" and "The Sheep Detectives". I have to admit: "The Sheep Detectives" was my favorite of those three.
I like to revist "On the Beach" every now and then when I can because I've come to appreciate a great deal about the movie's production - the sort of things you don't think about when you are young. For instance, even before the opening titles, there's an intense scene about 2 or 3 minutes long inside a submarine as the men verify where they are (just outside of Melbourne, Australia) and then give the order to surface. As the sub surfaces, the opening titles start.
You need to know that the central premise of the movie is that the world is coming to an end. Earlier, there was nuclear war in the Northern Hemisphere and everyone is dead; the level of radiation is so high, it will kill everything within a week. However, the radiation wasn't initially in the Southern Hemisphere, but is making its way south (Melbourne is on the southern coast of Australia). In 5 months, the radiation levels will still be high enough to kill everyone in the Southern Hemisphere as well, so these people are waiting to die. As the movie opens, The Sawfish, an American submarine, heads to Melbourne since it really has no where else to go... The Australians sent The Sawfish to the Arctic because there was a theory that, near the poles, the radiation wouldn't be so high. Once in the Arctic Ocean near Point Barrow Alaska, they discover that radiation in the Arctic is even worse than in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The theory was wrong and there's now no hope. As the sub heads back to Australia, it stops to checkout San Francisco; the city isn't destroyed, but everyone is dead and images of the city through the sub's periscope are eerie as everything looks normal... but quiet with not a single thing moving.
Here's a good example of how fascinating this film is made. In the second part of this scene, the man in the boat who is fishing is named Swain. He was a crewmember of the sub but he went AWOL leaving the sub to swim to shore in San Francisco where Swain is from. Swain has chosen to die at home than in Australia. At this point, this scene is the next morning. This scene, the way it is filmed with the sub slowly surfacing, the captain chatting with Swain, and then the sub leaving Swain who will soon die... it's very well-done across the board. There are many scenes like this in the movie.

In this scene, Peter, an Australian Navy officer who went to the Arctic with the sub, and his wife Mary are spending the last moments of their lives together. The radiation is here and has already begun to kill people. The Australian government had issued suicide pills so people could die without suffering. Peter and Mary still need to give their baby her suicide pill. The men on the sub chose to "go home" so it leaves Melbourne. The final images are of a lifeless Melbourne.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/4kUgCh3YTFgI'm hooked on watching various Netflix series.
You can't really get into character development in a 2 hour movie, so I'm watching and highly recommend the Ozark series. It makes me want to launder money for a drug cartel. 😜
You must finish it. I'm not going to spoil it for you but what a great surprise ending.
As you know the family moves to a resort town on the river and people are dying left and right but it doesn't' even phase them.
What kind of a family buys a crematorium to dispose of dead bodies? 😜😜
I haven't watched S3 yet, I was waiting for all episodes to air first and... I forgot about it, thanks for the reminder. The last show I watched was ST: SNW since S4 aired last month
"The Not So Jolly Roger" / Danger Man's last episode in black and white. Tonight, most likely, I'll start watching, "The Prisoner" with the first episode, "Arrival".
"The Prisoner" is the best t. v. show ever made. Some think it was the continuation of, "Danger Man".
"Danger Man" is about a British spy and the various cases they give him to work on.
"The Prisoner" is about a British spy (played by the same guy) who resigns from his job and, as he's packing up to go on vacation, someone knocks him out and takes him to a very strange and highly secret place called, The Village where he is kept a prisoner and spied on and tortured in various ways to get him to give up information they want. He makes several attempts to escape and almost always fails.

You've Got Mail 1998
Im currently watching police Academy 3 🤣
The last one was Ex Machina with Alicia Vikander. I remember I saw her backstage one time carrying an Academy Award and I thought she was someone's assistant. It turns out it was her award, which surprised the hell out of me because I had never heard of her.
Last night, I watched the 1997 movie "The Saint", starring Val Kilmer and Elisabeth Shue.
Interestingly, it was the first time I saw it, despite it being almost 30 years old.
I watched the Taylor Sheridan series "Lioness". It was very good.
The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane (1976).
Runner with Alan Ritchson. I stopped watching it after 30 minutes. Such trash stories make me tired recently
The last show I watched was Law and Order
@queenofcardio is it like the old “Law and Order”
Svu is pretty old now but not compared with the original show that debuted in like 1990 lol.

Lizzie Borden series on Netflix
How was it? I've been thinking about checking it out.
@shish_kebab It's really good. She didn't just kill her father and stepmother she hacked them to death!
My mother told me about this when I was about a wee lad.
There was a song or something about it.
Did they play the song at the beginning?
@shish_kebab I don't know the song so I;m not sure.
"Lizzie Borden took an axe And gave her mother forty whacks. When she saw what she had done, She gave her father forty-one."
Devil wears prada 2.

The last thing I watched was *Dune: Prophecy* on Max and I’m obsessed 😍 The world-building feels so rich, and visually it’s insane, very art-film-meets-epic-sci-fi vibes.
I’m with you though, *Game of Thrones* still hits different. *House of the Dragon* is great, but GOT’s chaos, shocking deaths, and iconic characters are hard to top 🐉✨
