Fathers and husbands

It seems like today fathers and husbands aren't taken seriously. Fathers day is a joke most times and they just let it slide. On mother's day mothers are thanked and we never see "thanks for not pulling out" or "thanks for not having me aborted"

on mother's day but we do all to often on fathers day. These are the men who raise us and what so we do to thank them, make jokes? Is this seriously what I'm walking into in a few years. The media makes fathers and husbands look like jokes while making women look like the ones who are tough and deal with more. We need to end the stereotype.

We need to make fathers great again

So far all I've seen promoting fatherhood is a community run organization called the "Dads of Destiny" which is just a game community group. All to often I see women complaining saying "all I get asked is how's your husband" and "no one cares about me" when literally fathers are always asked "how's the wife and kids". My father is never appreciated for him, but for what he does. No one cares that he's a father or a husband, people think that's just a joke. Mothers raise the girls to be ladies and fathers teach us to become men. Why is it that, that is so looked down upon? We thank mothers for the jobs that she and dad did. We just joke about dad on fathers day.

Don't leave dad's to just play Destiny and go to work

Let them be appreciated for just one day. Take it seriously.

I am proud that I will someday be a father. I hope all the fathers out there are proud that they are fathers.
