4 Stupid Things You Should Do Only Once

Some mistakes you do over and over. Like dating a super hot guy who's a bad boy, or enjoying one too many Mimosas at brunch on vacation. But some mistakes are so memorable you only make them once. Here's a go-to list.

Palmolive in the dishwasher

They used to make liquid dish soap that was unsafe for the dishwasher. Remember the soap that mom kept next to the kitchen sink? I did this once. And this is what happens.

Enough said. The best part is you then spend hours trying to mop it up, because the bubbles turn into exponentially more bubbles after you add additional water. Hand washing is not a bad thing when it takes you 1 hour plus 8 to clean up a dishwasher.

Ordering seafood at a diner

Ever heard the phrase "you get what you pay for"? Don't buy the endless shrimp hoopla! My cousin in law once ordered clams casino from a diner. We will never know why. He spent the next 24 hours regretting it. We spent the next 24 years making fun of his poor decision.

Dating someone you meet at a costume party

I did. They were dressed like a plumber. They looked way better in the plumber costume then they did in real life. Like waaaayyy better. I suffered through an awkward date. This is almost worse then a blind date. Its akin to dating someone online who has an airbrushed photo. I don't need an Adonis, but someone who doesn't have plumbers crack every day would be nice. After that I've only dated people I've seen in real life.

Cutting your hair post-pregnancy

People tell you to wait until after the hormones are normalized to cut your hair, but after the first every women I know has done this one, thankfully only once! Lobbed it all off into an unattractive do that only a baby or blind person could love.

They honestly should have a law at the salon that if you come with a baby under 6 months or show a photo of a newborn you are automatically denied anything other then a trim.

I have done the washing up liquid in the dishwasher - I didn't have a deep fat fryer so I decided to use a saucepan and clean it after - One ruined saucepan later - I have a vague recollection of going to put water on a cooking oil fire but my mother stopped me in time.

not me i was home alone and ended up with a very black wall in my kitchen and a ruined tv , long and weird story lol.

I washed my apple with soap. That was when I was like 2 or 3 years old.
My mom told me to wash it and I did, and it was soapy. I didn't know she meant rinse it only. I figured since I washed my hands with soap, you wash fruit with soap too lol
Never again!

I vaguely remember this but I think someone asked a question on how do you wash your fruits and there were actually people who wash them with soap and water.

when i was 7 or 8 i used some of my moms vagisil cream as tooth paste because it was in a red and white tube like the tooth paste i used. my god from that time on i read tube label in the morning and still remember the taste of vagisil in my mouth. its the most awful thing you could use for tooth paste i think. lol

your not lying it was awful, no way has that ever happened again . and still read tubes laying on the bathroom sink , that broke me of just grabbing anything in a tube and brushing my teeth with it lol.

No. Ironically just as a stereotypical plumber (i say stereotypical because lets be honest, there are hot plumbers out therein real life) Too tight heans showing ass crack, beer belly with a pillow and suspenders. Tool belt.
