Reasons Why I Find Babies Visually Unappealing

*Do not be offended by this mytake. This is completely satirical and intended only to get a laugh out of people. This will be my first "mytake" and I wanted it to be lighthearted. However, all opinions are my own.*

For as long as I can remember, I have never found babies to be cute or adorable. I actually found them to be quite "visually unappealing" (will NOT use the word ugly). I even hate my own baby pictures to be honest and hope they never resurface and are never seen by the public again. However, I do have VERY good reasons why I feel this way..

Babies seem to be completely unaware of the faces they make...well because they're babies. So, more often than not, you will find them making a face like the one above...or, a face like this:

For those of you who don't know what this quote means, it essentially means that parents tend to overlook things about their baby that EVERYONE else notices...and I mean EVERYONE. I KNOW that at least some of you out there have experienced this before!

You know those babies that have RBF (Resting Bitch Face)? Do you notice a sinister and uninviting look in their eyes? Or how they always seem to have one facial expression ALL THE TIME? However, if you know what's good for you, don't you dare confront the parents about this! They will either genuinely not notice it and become very offended and emotional, or pretend to not notice when deep down they know what's up!

Cute on the outside + ugly on the inside = visually unappealing on the outside.

You know when you go on a date with a REALLY physically attractive person? You think everything's going to go well and they seem like a great person? Then they show their TRUE colors and you're just turned off by them as a whole? May it be the way they treat their family members? May it be the way they treat their friends? That evil look in their eyes that you notice from time to time?

The same concept applies to babies.There are nice, sweet and kind babies in the world...Then there are the "demon" babies. The ones who smile and act sweetly when everyone's around, but then destroy the room the moment everyone leaves. Those babies who seem to just know when you're in a rush to go somewhere and choose THEN to throw a tantrum? Those babies who seem to just hate everyone who isn't you? Those babies that always earn a call from the day-care center because they're causing "trouble" with the other babies? Yeah...I don't like these babies. These are the babies that may end up becoming the world's "elite" in the future. The ones who can think a step ahead and think logically. Those sneaky and conniving babies. The babies with a "grand plan".

Babies tend to look too much like inanimate or mythical creatures.

Animal babies are MUCH cuter!

Boss baby had the right idea! Maybe the cuteness of animals does threaten the "cuteness" appeal of babies! If so, I don't care! I will choose a cute puppy over a baby any day of the week! I just LOVE baby animals and adult animals for that matter. Adult animals are even cuter than babies!

I'm agreeing. I've never understood why people finds babies so cute, adorable and nice looking. For me babies are visually unappealing. They're small wrinkled bald and screams a lot. In addition they've not learned to go to the bathroom yet making it just even worse. Many of them also looks like aliens with the big eyes, balloon head and tiny body. Many animals looks better and cuter regardless if they're babies or adults although I'm scared of many animals types. I'm scared of dogs (because of their behavior), but I still finds many dogs nice looking.

You're right baby animals are cuter than human babies lol, everyone knows that. I found a puppy in the bushes years ago, I took him home, bathed him and took many pictures of him, stared at him the whole time and kissed him sometimes.
My and my ex fell out over him because he couldn't melt my heart the same.

All babies are cute to me no matter what. I kinda have a baby fever since my niece was born. She's a demon baby and makes my life a hell when I'm babysitting her... but I still love her from the bottom of my heart. <3

Babies, no matter what, are just so... real and innocent. They have such an interesting problem-free world and looking at them I know why people say ignorance is bliss. A baby can't read your take. A baby doesn't have insecurities on stupid things. They are true to themselves. They try. They learn.

Human babies are born to be far less developed while some animals can walk from birth, true. But this is because humans are INTELLIGENT. A human brain of an average adult size is too big for a baby's head to come out of the mother's insides, which is why they are born with smaller brains that function poorly. The brain develops slowly with time.

I just love babies so much. They are pure and fun. Yes they can get pretty annoying and break stuff at times. My niece has broken almost all of my makeup stuff and ruined my textbooks and notebooks. But I don't get angry.

When babies are newborns, they're really wrinkled up and ugly, and that suction device can mis-shape their head for about a week. Babies' heads are bigger in proportion to their bodies than adults, so it takes about 10 years for their bodies to catch up to head proportion. I like when people say, "Awe, she looks just like you!" and you think, "I don't see any resemblance at all."

Babies are very self-centered. They want what they want, and they want it now! I read somewhere that a baby only knows what they immediately see, so if you go into another room, they think you've vanished into another dimension. I takes several months for them to figure out that another room is just another room.

Still, when my oldest daughter was born, even though she was wrinkled-up and head misshapen from birth process, I was holding her. She was looking up at me, and it melted my heart. Two months later, she was driving us nuts with cholic.

What I don't get is when people say young children are sweet angels when they are a bundle of unchecked human impulse that bounce between being sweet and cuddle and being pathological liars/self absorbed villains. 😂

Lol I think babies are cute, but their constant noise, demands, and fragility along with the 18+ year commitment they come with scares me away from wanting one (for now at least). Puppies are a big commitment too but I'd rather adopt one of those.

Well, I don't agree with most of this ish, but you are entitled to yo opinion... Although I do agree that newborns are not the cutest.. But as a baby goes into toddler hood, they become cute.. And also what makes them cute is their gibberish.. Baby animals cannot mimic that which takes baby humans above baby animals..

How can I like animals and not babies? Because I like animals... and I don't like babies. That's why. Why do you like basketball and not soccer? Why do like blue and not green? Why do you like summer and not winter?

I think all babies are visually unappealing. Including myself when I was a baby... which I mentioned in the mytake. However, I think toddlers are cute in a way. Though I would stay prefer animals over children.

I think most babies are unattractive because their bodies aren't developed enough for attraction to take place.. now if it were YOUR baby things could be different because it's your child.
