Brothers: are you protective of your little sisters?

If so how are you overprotective of her? Are you overprotective of who she hangs out with, what she wears, who she dates, or could you care less?

My sister is 7 years younger to me and I've fed her, changed her diapers, played & fought with her lol and yes I'm protective about her even till date.

I'm protective but I don't suffocate her, she's free to wear what she wants and was always free to date who she wants. She's married now with a kid.

But when she was in college (out here situations are different than out there in the USA) and I was already out of college obviously, I had 'followers' who were her age or a little older who'd 'watch out' for her though I hadn't mentioned any such thing to them (and most of them I didn't even know in person). They'd watch silently when a guy hits on her and after she's left they'd bash him up black and blue. No one dared to pass remarks or tease her lol. I had to put a stop to their overbearing actions once I realized it as she refused to attend college and on coaxing mentioned what was happening there. I had to go teach them the meaning of protection versus dominance :)

P. S. her husband was one of the guys who got beat up by them lol, he spent a good 5 weeks hospitalized. he loves me as I do him though :) we are great friends till date :)

To be honest, I care more about my brother's opinion of my boyfriends than my dad's opinion haha. My brother's not necessarily protective, but he does let me know when he doesn't think I should stay with a guy. Says stuff like "you're always so quiet when he's around" or "why do you care so much what he thinks?" In other words, he lets me know when I'm clearly not comfortable or not myself with a certain guy.

I'm a guy. I've down some nasty shit to get women to sleep with me when I was younger. Hell I've done nastier things to women while sleeping with them after the nasty it took to get there. I know the sheer depths a man will go for a vagina.

I am when the guy looks like he might want something from her like a green card, or just sexual things, or when she seems to be " in love". I think to be in love at her teens is pretty much stupid. Also if she only texts and not be with her friends, or if the guy is a loser. If she wears slutly shit I will talk to her until I bored her to death and insult her and make her lame excuses seem even stupider. Girls need to learn self-respect and stop watching or reading bullshit like twilight, that bi*ch gets sexualy assaulted by vampires and says that cleaning is her right place.

I try to be sure, but I don't often get too involved in their lives. my sisters have better friends than I have ever had and they are smart.

one sister pisses me off a lot because she gets so much more leeway and so many pluses in life compared to me because she is a girl, and then gets to do whatever she wants, where I always get the shit end of the stick, whether it be from parents or whatever. anyways even through all the bad that see never sees or feels compared to me, and I never treat her the way she treats me, I still protect her, or at least try. but I don't get involved much as I said, besides she never speaks to me about life. just like my mother all she is concerned with is that I get a full time job and wants to be a realist. who wants to talk to people who are always talking about life and what paths should and shouldn't be taken where other people are concerned.

My sister's last BF dumped her in a very shitty way and told her that he didn't "see her going anywhere in life"... all of this despite the fact that he has the EXACT same job as her, and he's like six years older. LOL.

Anyway, I popped into his work one day and we had a nice little chat--told him that if he ever said another shitty thing to my sister that he'd regret it. It felt amazing.

Iam a friend to my sister she knows all my secrets even my parents and my future wife won't knw ;-) she is my secret bank. I have had small fights in my early days as kids. But once we are 16. There onwards we are like magnet. Never left off each others back. I knw her friends. She met my crushes came to her home with me. Friends with my crushes. I am protective to the point I tell her to watch out for certain things and warn her about bad things can happen but I am not like aggressive towards who she dates even though I don't like most of them. I know ultimately, its her choice and if I am very aggressive, it will just alienate her and I don't want that. She is pretty smart anyway.
