+1 yYou just need to accept what you have. I didn't say "like it"-I said "accept it". What I mean by that is not complaining about it and doing something about it. If you change your diet your skin will pick up-lots of water, no sugar, lots of fruit and veg, no greasy food. I think diet is really important for good skin-more so than fancy potions really. Don't eat processed food-make it yourself. And lots of sleep too! You also need a good cleanse-tone-moisturise routine twice a day. Get a cleanser that has salicylic acid in it-I find neturogena two in one mask and johnsons clean and clear pretty decent if you're buying from supermarket. Tea tree oil will help clear spots especially if you get a breakout. And do not pick your spots! This will only make them worse. Touch your face as little as possible ideally and with spotless hands. I get spots if I eat the wrong things too. Your local doctor can give you stuff for the acne-its really common in teen years. Trust me-you're far from the only guy/girl with acne at your age. I have pale skin too and I do burn easily but watcha gona do?! You are who you are. I would advise you to use the gradual tanning lotions like johnsons holiday skin or doves version (cos it doesn't smell as strong) just apply it every morning and it'll give you a healthy glow and won't make you orange! I use it and it looks like a fairly natural tan.

Practical advice on how to make a positive change :)

+1 yWell - if you must resent them, then you must resent their parents as well, and theirs, and theirs, and on down the line. You are the final product of several generations. Blame your genetics if you want, but do not resent your parents. Beyond it being ridiculous to resent them, resenting them would also give you a personality to match your appearances. Do your best with what you have and work on making your personality beautiful - that is the part of you that will last anyhow. Beauty is really only skin deep, and it is definitely only in the eye of the beholder. My husband has white, sensitive skin that breaks out easily. I think he is the most attractive person on earth, mainly because his inner beauty makes him that much more attractive. Work on that inner beauty and see what happens :)

Asker+1 yYes, I resent my entire bloodline. Full of ugly white people with bad eye site and acne. It IS their fault for making me. They should of kept their sh*tty genes to themselves.

Either you are a troll, or you have a highly unattractive personality. Either way - I hope an attitude change happens for you :)
Have a nice day.
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yno. that's the genetic lotto for ya. no one can predict how certain features will display themselves in an offspring, sorry. if you think your white skin is ugly then go tanning. if you have acne you're not alone, just search around for products that work for your skin. I know how it is to feel ugly but don't let that define you. you can either do things to make yourself look better or accept your looks. and people become a lot better looking when they are at ease with themselves and not super self conscious

Actually some people such as myself can't get much darker skin and [at least until I'm older] get perfectly clear skin no matter what I do, since it is genetic. I do wear some make up to look better such as foundation and blush or bronzer...but unfortunately it's obviously not sociable acceptable for guys to wear that type of make up in public. so just accept it. besides, both guys' looks don't matter too much [compared to girls'] and tans are overrated and in some places are out.
+1 yNo, not really. You have to remember that sometimes you are just dealt with the cards you are given. Everyone has there flaws.(the guy with the smallest penis in the world is a male model).
I have my problems too... My teeth are crooked, I have very low blood pressure, and 5'8". I feel so much less than everyone, because a lot of people tower over me... However everyone has there perfections as well. I have a large penis to make up for my shortness and I have no allergies or defects(I also have a monster of a metabolism) to make up for my very low blood pressure(which makes my life so hard). It may not seem like much, but my low blood pressure causes me to have erections often for what seems no purpose. It's a job of it's to motivate my body to do work outs or work at all in general. My arms, legs, and what the hell anything that can will fall asleep.(including my ass). If I stand up too fast I go into a zombie like state for a few seconds. Oh and the really fun one. After sex I don't drift off to sleep I black out. In one case I was just coming into the room after I peed and bam slammed right down on the floor. Whatever perfections you have be GRATEFUL. Some people have the unfortunate circumstance to be scarred from fire over 90% of there body.20 Reply
It's a complete waste of time to resent your parents for much of anything. It solves nothing and just tears up your heart about something that couldn't be helped.

your probably not as bad as you think...
and someones looks aren't everything to people, some girls aren't shallow, some girls will like you for your personallity.
which means your personality has to be good,
blaming your parents for your appearance- isn't good, at all.
and its not fair to them, I'm pretty sure they love you,
and you make them feel horrible for thinking that about yourself..
you should be more possitive and have a better attitude,
and over time some of those things will get better.
you should just be happy the way you are.
and find people to be in your life that are happy the way you are too(:
and like I said at fist, I honestly doubt your that bad..
you just need to have more confidence in yourself and your looks. =)00 Reply
+1 yIf you're ugly, you only have yourself to blame. They sell medicine for acne, self-tanner for white skin, and one thing that makes ANYONE ugly: negativity.
If a guy has good posture, a nice haircut, straight (CLEAN) teeth, dresses well, with a healthy dollop of confidence to boot, he's going to have girls that think he's hot. Period.
So, no, it's not fair. Grow up.51 Reply- +1 y
Good one!!!
+1 yoh get OVER it. go see a doctor about the acne (if it's bad, over-the-counter stuff won't help), and either go out in the sun every once in a while or embrace your pale skin because pale can be beautiful-- look at celebrities like nicole kidman!
sure, your parents gave you your genes, but it's your fault if you're a bitch about it. either try harder or own up to what god gave you, 'cause you're stuck with it.32 Reply
Asker+1 yI don't find nicole kidman attractive...

I don't find her attractive ether, but it's not good to blame your parents.
thats the most ridiculous thing iv ever heard. How dare you have a child you ugly SOBs! wow... you can't hate your parents for making you. besides, its the inner beauty that really matters. And I'm sure both your parents are wonderful people... you should love t hem even more for that!

Asker+1 ySorry but inner beauty means nothing... And yes it is their fault for making me.
Asker+1 yIt's just the way it is. Until some girl comes along and likes me that isn't hunchbacked and snaggle toothed, I will say the same thing.
+1 yno...they didn't choose to make you that way. And any pain you go through for being "ugly" they had to endure too. Besides, white skin and achne? Tanning will help both of those.

Asker+1 yI tried tanning and I turned blood red and am still white as can be.
- +1 y
Well then you didn't do it right. It is a gradual process. You tan everyday the sun touches your skin. It needs to be done over time. Put some time into making yourself look better if you are that bitter about it. Girls do it all the time, its called maintanece
Asker+1 yI spent over a month in a tanning bed, using tanning lotion....
- +1 y
Well maybe if you stopped being such a grey cloud you would get a little color in those cheeks.
Asker+1 yHaha, I do have color in these cheeks but it is ugly redness from being so white and having acne scars.
+1 yI'm the same way where I'm naturally very pale even after going out in the sun for a while [I'll sunburn, then get slightly darker but not much] and break out even at my age and even with washing my face with anti-acne stuff so it's definitely genetic HOWEVER it's not like your parents can help their pale skin or acne either, just the way that genetics for some reason made them too.

+1 yEven though they're responsible for making you,
its not their fault for the way you turned out.
if you think you're too pale, then be active in the summer time to get a nice tan
and if you think your acne is bad
then I recommend SkinID.
its a bit pricey, but worth the money :]00 Replyacne will go away and white skin so what, do some yard work and get in the sun, who knows you might get a tan.

Or just be like "who cares!" to pale skin like I've finally learned to do...[too much sun and tanning=later too dry and wrinkled skin and possible skin cancer.]
Nope, always look to the bright side not the dark one.

40 ReplyYour parents had you because they loved each other and probably wanted a kid. Looks don't matter as much as many make them out to be. I think in general your thankfulness for life should far outshadow you being ugly.

+1 yYou should be thankful that were able to have you and without them you would not be here typing about how much you resent them.
Blaming parents is not the answer.21 Reply- +1 y
Amen to that - moreover, be thankful for your health. There are some people in this world who might be considered ugly who have terminal diseases that they have inherited through genetics. Despite the fact that they will never learn to drive a car they still love their parents and are grateful for the short bit of life they have been offered. +1
+1 yI'm pale, I used to have acne so bad they put me on accutane. Just get your shine on and quit talkin down on yourself. No one will be able to like you if you don't even like yourself let alone your family..
20 Replyyou should thank them for you even being alivee girl
and plus you couldve been worse so think on the bright side02 Reply
Asker+1 yGirl? I'm actually a dude. And yes I blame my parenrts and my appearance couldn't get any worse...
Totally. It'll end up making things worse though, but that's your choice.
