My mom uses things against me?

Whenever we have an argument she always used things that i told her against me. For example if i say me and my boyfriend had a fight she'll be really sympathetic at the time but next time if she's upset she'll be like "no wonder your boyfriend always fights with you, you're annoying" etc. I basically can't tell her personal things anymore because she'll just use them against me or mock me. I can't trust my own mother.

Why does she do this? i just dont understand. I would never use personal things against her.

That reminds me so much of my sister it's crazy. I stopped telling her anything after awhile so now when we get into arguments she tries making shit up... like my memory is shit and I'll go along with what she's saying... lmao.. Anyway don't tell your mom anything personal she's the type who will drag you around with what you tell her and she's toxic. Try to explain to her how you feel about when she does that and tell her how you're trust in her is gone.

I know how that feels. My mum will dig up ancient things that happened in the past and use them against me when she's shit talking me. Just don't tell her things and learn to handle them yourself like an adult instead of consoling to mummy every time about It. This will make her get the idea that she repels you when she realises her child is being distant from her.

i do tell her but she continues to do it when she's angry. It's so hurtful.

Those are a woman's qualities. They save the arguments for the big fight. Don't worry, you will do that too when you grow up, then you can proudly tell, you learn this tactic from your mom !
