Do you like giving or receiving hugs more?

Question

I like both. I like getting hugs when I'm sad, and when someone is sad I want to make them feel better so I give them a hug.

I tend to have a soft side every now and then.
Giving hugs aren't something that I do everyday, but it's not like I give romantic hugs.
I mean, I still give hugs to boys.
Just not out of romance.

Receiving hugs, is a kind gesture, also known as another way of saying thank you.
Usually I cringe whenever someone hugs me...:)
But to those who I hug almost all the time, it's neutral.

Omg, last summer I had a backache from all the hugs I recieved!!
Literally, my back was out of position!!!
Although it hurt, I felt pretty satisfied from the amount of love I earned from my camp buds.
Even the one's I didn't even know that well!

I always get this feeling that guys want women more than women want guys.
When guys initiate the hug, I always assume it's because of "wanting something more", where girls can initiate the hug just as a friendly gesture.
I live in a campus environment, with a couple hundred people who I know most by name, and I've seen girls reluctantly hug hopeful guys so many times. It's cringe worthy.

If she wants a hug, she'll know how to get it.

I only like hugging and receiving hugs from my girlfriend and find it weird with everyone else. It does not matter who initiates the hug because it will always turn into a mutual hug anyway and that is what I really enjoy. It would be strange if she was hugging me and I wouldn't hug her back and vice versa.

I love hugs, friendly acts are great.

I prefer receiving them because I don't usually offer them. We guys don't really hug much, and girls would get put off with me, or they tend to if I try to hug them.
