Why am I always the one who gets picked on in our group of friends?

We have a big group of guy and girl friends, and I just feel like I'm always the one who gets teased and ganged up on. I mean I dish it right back ;) but after a while it gets exhausting. It's also annoying because anytime one of the girls gets made fun of by the guys, I rush to defend her but they will easily join the boys and throw me under the bus or just "be neutral".

I don't understand why no one ever defends me? I mean, I get that they say it's fun to tease me, but if I defend other people, why don't they ever defend me? Why am I the target?

Either they genuinely dislike you and aren't friends in the first place, or they figure you're the only one of them strong enough to take it.

Either way, set some boundaries, it'll be good for all of you.

You aren't really their friend. You're that one girl in the group that isn't really apart of the group.

Get new friends.
