Is it that bad to laugh at someone's accent?

Apparently there has been a new student in our AP calculus class since the starting of February. Though I don't tell her anything nor comment, within me sometimes I find her acccent funny.

One time I just started laughing (not too loud though) for several seconds but she didn't know it me.

Her accent is kind of strong sometimes. I just find it funny.

I don't think it's bad if it's not completely unreasonable, but it might come across as rude if you don't know the person and their sense of humour very well.
I used to make fun of my fwb's accent all the time and he would usually laugh with me :P

It's bad, but I can't say I haven't done the same at some points during my life... 😂
But we should keep it to ourselves.

I sympathise. There are many accents that hurt my ears, but speakers of same are more to be pitied than laughed at. Can't say I've ever found an accent funny, though.

Yeah.. In one way if person get offended.. But not really if you're friends... We laugh on each other as our friends group consist of different ethnicity
