My boyfriend is going to a formal dance with his ex-girlfriend. Is this weird?

my boyfriend is going to a formal dance with his ex-girlfriend and I had to find out from a status on Facebook and everyone that commented on it are like you're so cute together and oh my god you love her and he's like yeah I know and I know they're good friends and everything because their families are close but he's her ex-girlfriend and we've never done anything like that before and I really wish that we could and I love him and he tells me that he loves me all the time and says that he's in love with me but it just makes me upset that he wouldn't tell me that and that I'm not the only girl he loves, I'm just kinda jealous I guess but it just bugs the hell out of me what do I do should I say something because I don't want to start something I just wish he somehow knew that it bugged me without him getting mad at me, please help me

This guy is your boyfriend and he's taking another girl to a formal and didn't even bother to mention it to you?

Plus, he still admitted that he has feelings for her on Facebook?

You need to get rid of this guy. The fact that he did this without even asking you indicates that he has a serious lack of respect for you and your relationship. And if he can do this, then what else is he going to do with this girl without talking to you about it?

Would he like it if you were hanging out with your ex boyfriend and just decided to go to a formal with him without even mentioning it to him first?

I highly doubt that he'd be happy if you did that.

I would call him up and patiently explain to him that you are very upset that he didn't even have the decency to call you and ask how you felt before he went ahead with any of this. Good friends or not, it's extremely disrespectful to you and you don't treat someone you claim to "love" with such callous disregard.

I can't tell you what to do, but this would be a deal breaker for me. He's already proved that he's untrustworthy by doing this without your knowledge or consent, so it's not that far fetched to think that he could cheat on you, if he hasn't already.

You deserve a guy that's going to give you his full respect and honesty. Someone who loves and cares for you would never treat you like that and a a guy that does---doesn't deserve you.
