Should I let my friend cut my hair?

My friend recently cut her own hair and now decides that she likes to cut hair. She has been begging me to let her cut mine. Hers is a little... short and eccentric for my taste. She likes more extreme and edgy styles than me, and my hair is usually just in some generic haircut, with or without layers depending on how recently I've had it cut and by who. My friend tends to be very opinionated on just about everything and I know she would pretty much just do whatever she wanted to my hair. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I really could use a haircut, but I feel like I will instantly regret it if I let her. What should I do?
