Do you get offended when someone insults your parents?

I wouldn't say "offended" is the right word, but I definitely won't be happy about it. Like if they say facts that are in their personalities, but politely, then that's not a problem, we all have our bad traits. But if they are insulting them and being rude making up some crap about them then I won't take it and I will defend them. Not only with my parents, but with everyone I love/whos close to me.

Yes, my parents are good people, and i won't take that shit. That goes for my younger brother too, me and him have sibling moments where we absolutely can't hate each other but in my head, the only person who can be a bitch to him is me lol 😝 if someone else talks shit about him, or hurts him, i'll rip their heads off!😡

I don't have a Problem with a Few if us Talking all at once about Our... Parents. It is a Togetherness sort of Fling Thing.
However, if One, hun, goes Behind my back, this is Wack, or to my Face, and doesn't Mention their own Folks, this is F*cked Up. Not Fair. Are your own Parents Perfect, I would say to them? xx

I think it's rude when somebody openly talks about your family like that right in front of you. I hate my parents though so it isn't a big deal when it happens to me. It just makes me think the person that is saying it doesn't have any manner, s and if they said it in front of the wrong person could end up in trouble.

It would depend on context. If they are making genuine comments based on some kind of knowledge of my parents then I may get offended. If they have never met my parents and know nothing about them then I would take it as trolling.

yes and no, most likely they are doing it to get a reaction out of me which I'm am not letting them get the best of me,. but at he same time if they go on for two long or say to much we are throwing hands 😤

only i can insult my parents.
just like only i can insult my boyfriend.

because i do it jokingly and lovingly.
when others do it i have no clue if they are being serious or not. and i will auto-default to serious.

It kind of depends on what they say - are they just agreeing with things I've said, or pulling things out of their hat? Is it reflective of problems my parents really do have or just preference?

Depends on what it is. If it's something like a "Yo Mamma" joke, then it's fine. But if they intended to insult me, and succeeded, I'd either verbally abuse them, or smack them upside the noggin'.

I've got all kinds of insults AND death wishes on Gag and elsewhere. My parents and me should have been deported and gassed, I read only yesterday. I don't even want to remember who posted it. Probably an Anon.
