I still sleep with my baby blanket?

I'm 16 & I still sleep with my baby blanket.. Just wondering how weird this is to other people. To me it's normal though. It's not like I freak out when I don't sleep with it, but it just helps me sleep.

Its not weird, your actually still quite young...and seriously, whose gonna care that you sleep with it. Its only a problem if you have a psychological attachment to it that prevents you from sleeping without it, which you say you dont, so don't worry.

Im 19 and I still sleep with my favorite doll in my bed, I don't clutch her when I sleep, and I can certainly sleep without her (she kinda gets shoved to the side between the bed and the wall). I just like making my bed and putting her on top, probably because I've been doing it since I was a kid.

As we get older we tend to want to keep a memento of our childhood like a toy or blanket because it brings us a sense of comfort, and like to hold especially when we're sleeping because that's when we are most vulnerable.

It also reminds us of our childhood when we turned to that toy or blanket that brought us comfort. Or like me, its just a habit

haha if it makes you feel any better I'm 19 and still sleep my baby blanket too. I've never once been insecure about it or anything. and my friends think it's kind of funny and we joke about it, but that's about the extent of it.

It's not weird at all.

I still use my baby spoon from when I was like 2 and I'm 16 too. It fits still perfectly in my hand lol

Nah it's not weird, I had a wide range of small blankets (I called them "baddas" -I don't know why-) and I slept with them till I was around 10-11 years old, I still have them in my cupboard though. it's normal, especially for girls, they tend to develop an attachment to a cuddly toy or a blanket more so than boys, that stays with them for a long time if not the rest of their life.

Ahhhhh, it's kind of weird.

Not strange, or outside of the realm of things that happen, but a little weird.

But, we are all a little weird, so I wouldn't worry about it for now.

I would suggest that you work on breaking the habit though. Because say you get married, that might become a little awkward, as in, a lot.

I don't think it would really be awkard if I married a guy who actually loves me for who I am. Because sleeping with a blanket would seem kind of insignificant by then.

Well I don't sleep with it, but I still have my baby blanket in my closet. The last time I moved I found it but I made sure to not get rid of it and made sure it was in a safe place lol...you're not weird :)

Not at all. I'm 17 and I sleep with mine, plus a stuffed rhino I got the day I was born. Plus, I'm a guy. This would be considered abnormal tto other people However because I'm a dude.
