Why does she keep her new boyfriend a secret?

I am just curious, me and my ex are friends, its been about 8 months since we have broken up. I take it that I am lucky she has not constantly been talking to me about her boy friend. When we are together, we generally just sit around and talk about our lives and tease each other just some what we did before and during our relationship. It has some what escalated to tickling each other and stuff like that. As I did say earlier I am happy she has not constantly been talking to me about her boy friend, since I do have minor feelings for her, which I know they won't totally go away until I find miss right. I just find it odd, if we hang around say 3 times, she will say two sentence's about her boy friend, like "This is what he thinks" or "He wouldn't like you doing this" (but we would continue doing it). I am not trying to let it go to my head or anything, but I just find it odd, can anybody shine some light on this?

She still likes you but not sure if she wants to stay with the other guy. By her mentioning her boyfriend she wants to see your reaction, if your jealous or not. If you do get jealous then she knows you still like her.
