If you get one don't use any nicotine on it. It's useless addiction. Usually people start vaping because they want to quit smoking and they find that better option. But there is no point in starting to vape if you are not addicted. But if you must get one then don't put nicotine on it so you don't get addicted for no reason.

Honestly a lot of it is just a coping mechanism for some people. A lot of the time people use nicotine to calm them down or destress. I really don't judge people on what they do with thier body because I was an abuser once too. I know how it feels. Plus the girl who wanted to do it wanted 0 nicotine and just something to calm down and keep her fingers busy. I agree that if they aren't mature enough they shouldn't be trying to fuck thier lives up but I truly believe in if they know the risks and are mature enough to understand it then I don't think it's a problem.
