Why do my classmates hate me, just cause I'm smart?

When my teacher gives a new lesson (math, science, history, and etc), I usually follow along and when my teacher pauses to let the class finish her sentence, I'm the only one who does it. In foreign language class, my teacher puts on a song and I sing along. My classmates are like, "Girl, how the hell do you even hear what they're singing at that speed?" When we partner up to do assignments, no one wants to work with me cause they think I'm a know-it-all.
